DYLAN

“Language Dynamics and Management of Diversity"

Spring Schools and Internal and External Training Programmes

The DYLAN Consortium also organised courses and Spring schools.

A first Spring school took place in year 2 (2008) of the project and a second school will take place in Autumn 2010, year 4 of the project.

The Doctoral schools are designed as intensive five-day periods of training for young researchers. Senior members from the partner institutions of the DYLAN consortium and invited external experts provide the expertise for executing the training.

The Spring Schools were closely coordinated with the “European Doctoral School on Multilingualism” currently being developed under the auspices of UNICA and of the European Language Council (CEL/ELC) (under Call for Erasmus Multilateral projects of the European Commission), and with other national doctoral schools (for example, the “Ecole doctorale suisse en sciences du langage).
