Discourse Approaches to Politics, Society and Culture includes studies that investigate political, social and cultural processes from a linguistic/discourse-analytic point of view. Th e series includes monographs and edited volumes which combine language-based approaches with disciplines concerned with human interaction — disciplines such as political science, international relations, social psychology, social anthropology, sociology, economics, and race and gender studies. The trilingual Free University of Bozen-Bolzano will host the third International Conference on “Bi- and Multilingual Universities” on 20-22 September 2007, with the goal of bringing together scholars, instructors, university leaders and administrative personnel working in bi- and multilingual universities, so as to provide them with a terrain for scientific and didactic discussion, comparison of practices, approaches and results and networking opportunities.
